A regular hour, not a drop-in

Lessons are weekly and placed on a standing time. What follows is a sample of when a valley studio typically runs — labeled as such until the academy confirms real hours.

Sample lesson-hour windows

  • Weekday after-school

    3:00 – 7:30 p.m.

    The usual window for school-age students.

  • Weekday mornings

    9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

    Often a better fit for adults and homeschool families.

  • Tuesday & Thursday evenings

    5:30 – 8:00 p.m.

    Sample adult and working-student hours.

  • Saturday morning

    9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

    A common make-up and weekend block.

These windows are editorial examples of after-school, morning, evening, and Saturday blocks. They are not a booking calendar and do not guarantee an opening.

Temporary — confirm with the academy

  • 30 minutesYounger beginners and tightly scheduled weeks
  • 45 minutesMost school-age students once reading is underway
  • 60 minutesTeens, adults, and students with more to cover
